Prototype

Aether

Rain, on demand.

Climate

Aether

The premise

A quarter of humanity lacks reliable clean water, often within sight of humid air carrying thousands of litres overhead. Aether reaches up and pulls it down.

Each tower is a solar-driven condenser the height of a streetlight. It harvests drinking water from the atmosphere by day, runs on its own stored sun by night, and scrubs a small column of carbon from the air with every litre it makes.

How it works

01

Draw

A passive sorbent surface captures moisture from the air overnight, even in dry climates.

02

Release

Concentrated solar heat drives the water out as vapour, then condenses it into a sealed, mineralised reservoir.

03

Serve

Communities tap clean water at the base; a companion grid shows yield, quality, and carbon captured.

Signals

20 L clean water per tower, per day
0 grid power or plumbing required
24 h operation, sun or none
